“I have known Diana for over 30 years. She took care of my parents dogs, sisters pets and mine. I have never trusted anyone else with my babies. I recently got two new puppies and was hesitant to leave them. I knew with Diana taking care them, they would be in good hands. When I picked them up, they were happy puppies who had a great weekend playing with other dogs. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Diana’s kennel is a place that was built out of love for dogs and your pet will be well cared for at the Yankee Doodle Pet Lodge.”

“I absolutely love it here! From the beginning, Tawana was amazing to talk to on the phone. I drive trucks and have to do a lot of business over the phone and email which can be difficult at times, but she made it easy and the communication was above and beyond! I finally met Jimmy when I came to sign my lease and he was also amazing and a joy to work with and chat with. Great communication and friendliness goes a long way with me. I am in love with my apartment! I have a one bedroom but it feels big. The open kitchen concept is something I’ve always wanted and also having the washer and dryer in the closet area was a dream of mine. This apartment did not disappoint at all. I now have a nice and cozy place to call home when I’m not on the road. I just recently had a birthday and I came home to a card and candy hanging on my door. It was a very sweet surprise. I highly recommend The Lodge at Lakeshore to anyone looking for a beautiful place in a prime location.”

“Little gem on English Rd. in High Point. They open at 4am serving hot breakfast sandwiches with meats from local meat markets. More of a grill than a convenience store but the food is GOOD and the people are country town nice. They also serve fried chicken, potatoes wedges, cheeseburgers and hot dogs. Nice little lunch spot for some flat top grilled food.”

“The shop is now called The Budding Artichoke, but they still sell pastries and bread by SwedeBread, and BOY are they delicious. I couldn't possibly pick one thing to suggest; it's all phenomenal. The shop carries local eggs from happy, free-ranging birds (chickens, ducks, and even geese), as well as milk from pastured cows. I buy all my milk and eggs from here. They have all kinds of other stuff, too: produce and flours and honeys and such. The staff is friendly -- quite the neighborhood shop!”
