“While generally businesses in Ahoskie harbor a ‘good enough to pass inspection’ standard, this 24 hour health and fitness center soars above standards. - Pros - 24 hour access with free membership FOB. - Clean, current, well-functioning equipment. - Full professional staffing from 6AM - 7PM weekdays. - plenty of cleaning wipes for machines and clientele are very good about cleaning up after themselves. - Generously equipped cardio areas with plenty of machines. - Very good array of resistance and weight training material and equipment. - Very clean restrooms and locker rooms with private changing areas. - Spotless Sauna. - Surgically clean shower areas. - Cons - Free weight area can get a little full during the busy hours 6-8 AM and 5-7 PM, but is manageable. - Parking lot lighting could be better at night. - Areas for ‘floor work’ in the free weight area is a bit constraining at times. - No CrossFit area in main workout room. Overall, for the city and area, this fitness center is a cut above and would be highly recommended for general physical fitness. Bodybuilders may be better suited at another facility. This center would also be a good family fitness center as it features a smaller (but adequate) pool, outdoor basketball courts, and plenty of specialty rooms for mixed use. Well done!”
