“We had an amazing week at this vacation home. We have stayed on Lake Norman 5 different times and we always enjoy ourselves. This is our first summer trying the Hideaway. Was a great choice. This home was closer to town and conveniences than some previous homes but still offered privacy and serenity offered by more rural locations. The house was impeccable when we arrived and stocked with basic necessities which was a nice touch. The decor and furnishings were adorable with a beautiful beachy lake theme with modern touches. We loved the bunk room since we had 8 kids here in our group and it was just so cozy and cute. The views were spectacular right out your bedroom windows and the living space, which were just walls of windows. Best part, the living area and dining areas provided ample space for our large group to dine and hang out together very comfortably. The dock was perfect for our daily activites, with an area to tie off our boat, dock our jet ski and anchor our floating island we brought. Surprisingly happy to find 2 kayaks and a SUP board to use for the week. We made great use of these along with the 2 we brought. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking instruments/equipment which we appreciate since we cook and eat every meal at the house and we have a large group. The sleeping quarters were superb. It felt like walking into a resort. We can't say enough good things and would definitely recommend this rental home to anyone looking for a fun time on the lake.”
