This is a wonderful idea to have in our neighborhood. It is a temporary home for Veterans. It is nice to have a place that they can stay so that they are not homeless. In a small way having this home is beneficial in that it allows some residents to feel a little safer. These men are able to get out and walk around in the neighborhood. They are friendly and nice. It is a nice thing to have people in our town that want to help find fixes for some of the things that are not what they should be. We all should be more generous in our lives and be helpful instead of complaining about what needs to be done. This housing is for Veterans only. Our town made it possible to help homeless veterans have a good place to go instead of living on the streets. This IS NOT a hotel or bed and breakfast. You can not rent a room. This is helping Veterans.To call the Veterans housing, the number that you call is the phone number for 5 Street Ministry. 5 Street Ministry is also the place that you will have to go to if you are interested in applying for a place to stay
