The Redneck BBQ Lab

Great little BBQ joint. We tried everything except the brisket. I'm sure it is just as delicious as the ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage & chicken.
Sides were decent I highly recommend the baked beans.
And save some room for the Dole Whip as dessert

EXCELLENT! If you can make it out here, do it. We ate at the most recommended and highly rated restaurants in Raleigh all week but none compared to the satisfaction this delicious meat and sauce tornado brought. A pound each of brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork along with a pint each of collards, coleslaw and Mac and cheese and a fat redneck sandwich was about maybe 1 side too much food for 3 people. Still, all 3 table sauces were amazing.

By the way, the fat redneck sandwich has a ton of meat and is a great deal! I'd go back to Raleigh just for this place.

Normally I would send a picture of my plate before I eat it but I want to show you the aftermath. This place is delicious! One of the best barbecue places around. The burnt ends and a brisket are very flavorful and well sauced. The sides are just as amazing. I highly recommend this place

What I would do to have this place within reasonable driving distance. Redneck BBQ Lab is serving up some phenomenal fare. Absolutely nothing that we ordered disappointed, and we ordered just about one of everything, including dessert!).

Also, the staff was ridiculously friendly, even for being super busy. We got there about 30 minutes after open on a Sunday, and it was already slammed with customers (both inside and in their drive-through line). So obviously, as with most BBQ places, do your best to get there early!

Some of my personal favorites include the St. Louis Ribs, brisket, baked beans, cornbread, and slaw! My boyfriend loved the turkey too. I was actually least impressed by their pulled pork; it didn't seem as tender or as flavorful as the other cuts. Banana pudding was excellent as well.

We went inside to place our order, but ate it in the truck (though there's plenty of dining space inside). Everything was well-packaged and accounted for. Sauces come individually sealed, which is nice too.

I would recommend this to place to anyone who wants to eat good BBQ.

Update: went back a second time. Side portions still smaller than I would like for the price, but food great. The place was busy and the sell out regularly, so can't really blame them. Will go back, just not as often...

Since moving to NC we have been roaming around the countryside trying new BBQ places. Who would know one of the best would be just down the road!

The food here was great, the service great and the atmosphere wonderful. The sauces come packaged and I could have used more. I assume I could have gotten more if we ate in.

The brisket was nice and lean like I like it. The pulled pork very tasty. My only complaint is that the sides were a bit on the meager side. Even so with the 1/2 pound brisket I was full enough.

We will definitely be going back!
