Skylines Cafe

I had the pleasure of dining at Skylines last night. It was an outstanding experience. Our waitress Leslie was great. She was friendly and very professional. I had the baked stuffed chicken. It was excellent. If you are ever in Clayton NC please give Skylines a try.

Not long after my wife and I moved to Clayton (suburb of Raleigh, NC), we set out each weekend sampling the various places to dine out. We certainly found more misses than hits. One of the hits is Skyline Cafe. This restaurant would easily fit in an urban setting with its above average and thoughtful meal creations. The dining area is clean, slightly sparce and contemporary. There's a pleasant outside dining area to choose from, weather permitting. Severs are pleasant and helpful, the owner is also the baker, so all the deserts (like most of the food) is fresh and tasty. Traditional Cafe food selections next to more upscale fare. The menu is large enough to find something that will please anyone in your party. Quiet and reserved, plays mostly soft rock music. Inviting bar area for those who enjoy having a drink and appetizers while on a date or hanging with a small party of friends. This is an easy one to recommend.

The food was delicious! The drinks were great. I meant to get my waitress name so I could let them know what a friendly and great waitress she was. If you are ever in NC please google this place. It is awesome and highly recommend.

We tried Skyline for the first time this afternoon and I can say it definitely was NOT a let down. We ordered off the lunch menu and everything we ordered was great!!! We plan to do supper there sooner than later and can’t wait! Small, quiet, hometown feel. Highly recommended!
