This is a nice RV park, the word Resort is used to often by to many. We have stayed here each July for a night going north and south on I-95 for the past few years. They have two very nice pools, a hot tub, Putt Putt and play area for the kids. Very clean laundry room and very clean bath house. We have never had any interaction in person with the staff, only by phone, which is fine. Never been there on the weekends for the breakfast. It was a great value at $50 a night considering there is nothing at that exit. But it is an esay on and off I-95. With a 68% increase to $84 it makes it hard to swallow. With inflation and the RV business in demand this park is about a $65 value. But it is very clean and very well kept.
A truly 10 10 10 RV Resort. Clean, level sites, great spaghetti dinners , staff -oh- the waffles. Well worth a stay. BUT, IT IS ASHAME THEY ALLOW POLITICAL FLAGS. ONE REASON I GO CAMPING IS TO GET AWAY FROM POLITICS THAT WE ARE INUNDATED WITH DURING OUR WORK WEEKS. In our travels we have encountered more Campgrounds that do not allow political flags and banners. It is most welcomed.
This campground is our yearly stop as we travel from Canada to Florida and back every year. The place is immaculate and very well run. One of the best campgrounds on the I-95 / I-81 corridor!
Just a few miles away you will find the famous "Carolina Pottery" big box mall, so if you can, stay an extra day. You'll need it!!
We stayed one night on our way up 95 on a Thursday night. The park is immaculate!! Check in was super easy and our pull through spot was a breeze. My kids loved the mini golf & playground which had lights for use at night. Although we didn't use the pools they looked beautiful. The park was very quiet even though most sites were occupied. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed one of the three fenced dog parks. My only critique would be the lack of shade. It was so hot we could not handle being outside. There were also a lot of flies due to it being summer. We look forward to staying here again during a cooler month.
This campground is well maintained, clean, organized, relaxed, and friendly. During our brief stay, we availed ourselves of the pool, playground, mini golf course, showers, and launderette, while the dogs enjoyed the fenced-in dog area (there are three in total). The comfort station has multiple individual full bathrooms, giving a very homey feel to the facilities. Our family has traveled all around the country and this is a very nice place to stay.
Thank you, Raleigh Oaks, for a wonderful stay!
