Burney's Sweets & More of Smithfield

While visiting my sister in Four Oaks, NC we stayed the night in Smithfield. My sister told me about this place, stating their filled croissants were great. Needless to say I visited the bakery the next morning to verify for myself and I was not disappointed. I ordered fruit filled for my sister and her husband, a vanilla filled for myself and a honey bun for my husband. Soooooo good. If you are in the area be sure to stop in. The young lady that took the order was not the friendliest I have met, but I will chalk that up to a rough and customers like me that had not been there before.

They are famous for their glazed and stuffed croissants. This location also has amazing cheesecake! There is something for every sweet tooth!! Staff is always helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our visit here. Customer service was good. Only thing is I wish they'd put the croissants on display in the case. You have to write down what flavors you want and they go get them. I visited Burney's in Raleigh a few weeks ago and discovered they had one in Smithfield. I HAD to stop by and it was AMAZING here as well. We got glazed croissants, cookies, and macaroons at Smithfield location 😍
