I have been a patient of Doctor Sona S. Kashyap for over 15 years.
With a long family history of Hypothyroidism, I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable Doctor that specializes in this area of medicine.
But.. What sets Doctor Kashyap apart from the rest in my humble opinion, is her honest compassion & humanity.. She treats me like a friend, like she really cares, and leaves me with such a calm & peace after each visit, it’s remarkable. How rare is that?
I do not feel like a faceless nameless number or just a chart being shoved through an office in little time after waiting forever to be seen, like most other medical offices & physicians.
I have enjoyed her very pleasant staff, their professionalism and always a kind smile.
I have been seen promptly at each appointment and as much time as she needed to take during each visit. This has not changed over the 15 years that Doctor Kashyap has been my Endocrinolgist. Maybe that’s why I have remained a patient due to how well I have been treated. Such wonderful friendly staff. Not a sour one in the bunch! I personally appreciate that!
That says a lot about the leadership to have such a positive team working together. I believe the patients can feel the synergy of an office right when they walk in, and how they are treated until they leave by each person they encounter.. That has a huge impact on how I feel about returning in the future, as I am sure it does to everyone else that enters that door for an appointment.
What stands out to me about Doctor Kashyap, what makes her different, its her approach as she greets you, she is so very patient, so very calm and so very sincere.. You feel like she truly cares..
Of course, Doctor Kashyap’s knowledgeable experience and professional attitude is far beyond exceptional, but what makes her so incredibly remarkable to me,
as a woman now in entering my 50’s,
It’s that soft gentle quiet spirit of calm & comfort that is always so reassuring..
I believe it’s her intimate understanding of what stages of life I am entering and experiencing as a woman, The dreaded uncomfortable menopausal time, On top of the Hypothyroidism. Which in itself is frustrating...
It can be exhausting and a extreme time in a woman’s life.. This is exactly when you need someone to help you get through this and learn to cope with the changes.
She is just the best.. The Doctor I appreciate & more importantly, trust. I rely on her to walk me through these personal changes at this phase of my life and making sure I am not suffering from the various symptoms that come with both Hypothyroidism and menopausal related issues.
Maybe it is due to her being a medical Doctor specialized in the area of Endocrinolgy, but the fact that she too is a mother, wife, professional AND a woman.. I believe that is what makes her different from so many, and gives her more in-depth and insightful wisdom added to her medical expertise, on how to care, provide answers, comfort, advice along with the exact medical procedures and treatments. Not all, unfortunately, relate, care & understand.
I cannot say enough positive things about her, and all of that to say.. Yes, I would highly recommend her to anyone I know..
Dr. Kashyap, Thank you so very much for taking such great care of me over so many years and being such an amazing, kind human being that truly emphasizes & cares about how I’m coping through this frustrating autoimmune disease, and also this next phase of my life. Menopause is no fun at all, but you have helped make it bearable.
I leave each time feeling better & knowing that I will get through this.
Wish there were more Physicians like you!
