(February 10, 2019, 10:44 am)We've been frequenting Pinveill Lake Park since we moved here in 2006. It's a great park near downtown Pineville that includes a walking trail around a small lake, playground, amphitheater, and rec center. If you haven't been there before you owe it to yourself to check out one of the parks many special programs including Food Truck Fridays, Fall Festival, and the Annual Christmas Tree lighting. the park is well maintained, and Pineville Park and Recreation Director has made sure to keep the facility up to date and relevant with programming and new features. In recent years the park has expanded the playground, renovated the walking trails, added a dog park, and now a spray ground is under construction and due to be opened in the near future!

(February 7, 2019, 8:19 pm)Beautiful park! The story walk was awesome. My 8 year old daughter had a great time reading the story and doing the activities. Loved the swinging benches, too.
