  Just ordered our custom table and bench today!! What nice staff and great location. What I saw was good quality, custom work at a fair price. Would recommend them to anyone. :). Cannot wait to see our custom peace, I have little doubt about how amazing it will be.

  I can only give an excellent review for Shawn at Brown Dog! In terms of craftsmanship , design and variety, he has it all at an affordable price. I adore that on his wood pieces the “brown dog” stamp is branded onto the wood! It’s my understanding Shawn grew up around carpentry and Uphostry thus he has an eye for beautiful design including lamps, gardening items, accessories and custom furniture. We have purchased many things from Shawn! Thanks!

  Beyond the product, it goes a long way to know the progress and heart that goes into making a strong, intriguing, and fashionable piece of antique. The creativity is there, but it's the passion that stands out, in the work, but also in the carpenter / artist. Shawn decided to get his first dog when he turned 42 and knew he wanted a loving and loyal pet. The obvious choice was a chocolate lab. Shawn named his dog Brian, but his nickname quickly became "Brown Dog."
