Absolutely loved the place. Had a fun day with my bestie walking around the grounds. We read all the plaques, looked at the fish in the pond, sat on some benches, and took in nature.
I don't have the best pics bc I'm not a big fan of taking any when the person I want to share them with is already with me.
Lovely place. A great piece of Charlotte History. The only thing I'd recommend, especially in summer, put on some bug spray. especially lower legs. Lots of vegetation and moisture means skeeters... after that you'll be just fine to enjoy.
I’ve enjoyed multiple visits to this beautiful garden and highly recommend it. It is a true “hidden gem” in the city of Charlotte. The staff are always welcoming and ready with helpful suggestions to make the most of your visit. My six year old daughter loves going on “dates” to visit this garden and see the different flowers and birds. They have an awesome kids section as well and hold multiple events throughout the year - they truly offer something for everyone! Please take the time to visit and support this fascinating and lovely garden oasis in Charlotte.
