(April 20, 2018, 1:09 am)The place I visited was Snowcone Explosions, it's on the front side of Blossoms Beauty Salon.
These smowcones are AMAZING! I visited on the day if grand opening & have been back twice since.
They offer 4 sizes $1-$5 smallest to largest & $1 Deer Park waters.
They have a variety of flavors, & offer Philadelphia Water Ice. I'm not sure what exactly that is though.
I would also just like to add, I will definitely be going before 3pm on the weekdays. School age kids work in the afternoon & the snowcones seem more "ice chunky". Kind of like ice chips, with flavor.
However today, I went around 2:45pm & a adult gentleman (who may have been one of the owners) fixed me a snowcone & it was ACTUALLY LIKE EATING FLAVORED SNOW!!!! It was nothing short of AMAZING! The best one I've ever....& I mean EVER had in my whole entire life!
They also have a private playground & sitting areas for customers & their children!
The last thing I'd like to add is that I noticed there is no Food or Inspection grade. Being that they are on the backside of a hair salon, split by way of a door, they may need one.
(Each county has different rules when it comes to Food regulations on shaved ice places. Our county may not require a Food grade. I did notice a hand washing station & a sink.)
Nonetheless, I ate there & the snow cones are amazing, so who cares? I just thought I'd mention it. -
