  Even though I am a prolific baker, I was totally busy during the holiday season to be able to make a cake for a friend's birthday. I sent an order inquiry the week before I needed it to Craft Cakes and was immediately accepted in the midst of the Thanksgiving holiday! Picking up the cake was a piece of cake, and it was even more beautiful than I could've imagined.
  
  My friend was ordered by a medical professional to refrain from consuming dairy, but Brigitte went above and beyond to make it completely vegan and gluten free. My friend said that it was the most delicious cake that she had ever eaten and made for a great birthday surprise.

  Brigitte is an absolute ARTIST in the kitchen. She is constantly experimenting with recipes and decorations, and everything she brings to the table is a piece of her heart. For the past few years I have worked alongside her on styled shoots and weddings and she never fails to impress me time and time again. Her vegan cake for one of my 2018 couple's blew my mind! Beyond her baking skills, she is so incredibly down to earth and her passion for her work is truly inspiring. Give this woman all your money!

  I have been a follower of Craft Cakes for almost 2 1/2 years now. I was so happy when I found out they were opening up a new place in Plaza Midwood! Brigitte, the owner, is very personal and make all of her product from local ingredients. Once you try one of their cakes, you will be hooked for life. The quality, design and expertise of their cake is close to none. I would highly recommend!

  I ordered a carrot cake for my husband and son since it is their favorite. My son has a peanut allergy so it always hard to find a carrot cake without peanuts. The cake was delicious, the frosting was next level. We loved it. Thank you so much for a great cake.

  A great friend of mine gifted me a cake from Craft Cakes CLT recently and it was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had, and I am picky with chocolate! It was so beautifully decorated and fit all my dietary needs! I was worried of not being able to have cake on my birthday due to some dietary restrictions (dairy free, low sugar, gluten free) and the cake fit the bill on top of being absolutely DELICIOUS. I didn't feel guilty while eating it because I knew how many amazing ingredients went into the cake. We definitely are recommending this business to anyone we know!
