  Sensei price and the entire staff of Charlotte martial arts Academy go above and beyond to create a safe learning environment. Our family previously had a negative experience with a “karate school“ The teaching style at CMAA has renewed the interest in martial arts for my children as well as taught them to be confident and believe in themselves.

  As a career martial arts instructor I've had the pleasure of training all over the world at dozens of facilities. CMAA is one of the FEW schools where I would send my own child. The program does an outstanding job in developing martial artists. Not fighters. While their striking is top notch I applaud the level of respect, courtesy and black belt attitude they show on and off the mats. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their family to train!

  Charlotte Martial Arts Academy fosters a fun, friendly, martial arts learning experience as well as a family-friendly environment. Starting January 2013 my son "tried" martial arts. Now he is excelling as well as encouraging Mom and Dad to participate. To quote Sensei ... "A family that kicks together, sticks together". As a Boy Scout leader of 15+ years, I embrace the lessons incorporated into the Karate Curriculum and their similarities to the Scout Oath and Law.

  The best extracurricular activity you can offer your kids, bar none!! Better yet, it's for parents, too! A most satisfied customer since 2001 who plans to stay at CMAA long after his kids graduate from high school

  I am a woman of a mature age and have been training in martial arts at CMAA for over 5 1/2 years. The wide range of ages and abilities is amazing and I am allowed to adapt and modify as I progress in my training. You cannot ask for a more dedicated staff and students who work incredibly hard to take their lessons of discipline and respect into their homes, schools, and work. It is my favorite place to go and exercise with people of all ages and abilities. My overall health has improved so much, my doctor is happy I chose this over going to another gym.
