(January 2, 2019, 1:46 pm)My former PT SUSAN is a beast! So this is the first time that I actually GRADUATED from physical therapy. I have had back problems off and on for the past 18 years and had another flare-up in the fall. She was gentle with her approaches but also could get in there to do deep tissue work as needed. She is a great educator and actually takes time to explain what she is doing and how each part of the body is connected therefore needing to perform optimally to avoid breakdown in other areas. For example, I have L5 S1 issues, found out that I also had weak hips and a weak core and I learned that all of that works together. I went from not being able to roll over in bed to being able to do so. I used to sleep on the edge of my bed because it was so difficult scooting to the edge to get up in the mornings. Susan cured all of that and she gave me printouts of exercises to do at home. My fiance also built me a PT bench at home that I use now because I don't like being on the floor. I saw results very quickly after I started working with her. She has also done additional training/certification stuff related to the spine which is above and beyond the mandatory PT training and I was able to feel and continue to feel the benefits of her expertise. She rocks! Choose her if you can. I had a $30 co-pay and didn't mind paying because it was a great investment. I had measurable results and although I hope I don't have to return, if I do I will choose her. Blessings to you all!
