My kids are THRIVING here.
Bradford Prep is a very progressive school. My grade school children are learning and applying concepts that we use in the business world. This is more than a college prep school – it’s a life prep school. Everything on the About Us: Mission & Values page on Bradford's main website is 100% accurate.
After having been in a private school through 3rd grade, we moved to Bradford this year. I was very concerned about how my children would adjust to a public environment. The teachers and administration were amazing! They worked with us to make the transition smooth. My children love Bradford. I especially love the fact that the teachers collaborate on a monthly basis to ensure all kids' needs are met. For example reading groups were created and children assigned based on their skill levels, so the advanced kids were challenged and those that needed additional support also received it! I would highly recommend Bradford!
Bradford Prep is a great school. As a parent of four children that have been at multiple other schools (public, private, and charter), I can provide the very educated opinion that Bradford is solid. The teachers and staff are extremely student-focused and provide more individualized instruction than I have seen anywhere. It's quite obvious that the negative reviews were posted by some less-than-astute individuals (although "anonymous b" is probably a very appropriate name), so please disregard the ignorant rants.
I think they need some work but it is there first year of having High School. They are changing a lot next year and giving us more options. It is still better than most high schools we have more freedom and everyone knows each other. We also get to take educational field trips like when we went to Body World. We are even going to Atlanta and going to visit some colleges, Cnn, and the Coca cola factory while we are there. Over all when you think of it this school is pretty good. We are learning and smaller classes are easier. They care about us they even let us go on a Fall Retreat at the beginning of the year so we could bond. Which was really fun there was a lot to do and I personally think I got to know people better while I was there and find out who my friends were.
