Caldwell Station Creek Greenway

First, a question for google: Wht isn’t this greenway trail shown on google maps?
As for the greenway itself, it is a truly beautiful and potentially useful one as is connects numerous neighborhoods located between US 21 in Huntersville and NC 115 in Cornelius. Most of the path is shaded in the spring and summer by old growth hardwoods as it gradually descinds from the trailhead at the high line of the NC 115/Norfolk Southern RR corridor. There are some nice wooden bridges along the way as it winds toward the intersection of US 21 and NC 73. Be aware of the scant connections at each end of the trail, however, as there are no crosswalks or signage, and the sidewalks available place you riding against traffic if you’re heading north to Cornelius or south to Huntersville. In short, the greenway itself is great, but the facilities for guidance, safety, and connections at both trailheads are sadly lacking.
