  Joshua made and installed 3 beautiful walnut shelves in my home office. He was a pleasure to work with and really loves his craft!

  My husband Tim and I are new to the area and were in the process of remodeling our home and wanted an element of reclaimed wood in our home. We searched high and low for by-pass barn doors. The search was long and exhausting as most ‘door’ company’s do not make doors out of solid wood let along reclaimed wood. We accidentally stumbled upon Joshua and his beautiful family at Wood Tender in Cornelius. The process from the moment we met was seamless. Joshua’s knowledge and passion for what he delivers is second to none. He is a perfectionist and will go the extra mile to deliver nothing less than perfect. We are so thankful to have a piece of Joshua’s work in our home.

  Joshua found the perfect, weathered beam that I wanted for our fireplace. He then crafted a beautiful mantle from that piece of wood, while keeping the color and character that I wanted. He also installed a French cleat system on the back that made it super easy to hang.

  Today we met a talented and intelligent young man!! We were looking for reclaimed wood and Joshua was fantastic!! He helped us find pieces perfect for our bathroom!! If you are looking for reclaimed, barn wood or live edge this is the place!! Joshua is an artist with wood!! Some of his pieces are beyond perfection!! If you need something special and unique you will not find anyone better!! We will definitely return for more wood and ideas!! Thanks Joshua and family for the time you spent with us!!❤️

  Our project turned out amazing! From the very beginning, Joshua was professional, detail oriented and listened to our every want and need. He took our design ideas, offered his own professional opinion and we came up with the perfect solution for our family. Joshua and Barrett are extremely talented, precise craftsman and leave no detail unnoticed. They gave us a unique and custom space by incorporating the beautiful wormy chestnut and even customizing an old Indian door into a closet door. I can't brag enough about the caliber of their work. Thanks so much Wood Tender!!
