(December 23, 2019, 12:10 pm)Dr Kraska is such a phenomenal psychologist! I've been seeing him for over two years now and he's been a true lifeline to making progress in my life. He not only is the one who diagnosed me as being on the Autism Spectrum, but he helped me through figuring out how to be my most authentic self when around other people.
If it weren't for his consistent guidance and ease of conversation, I would still be spending all my time struggling to understand myself. My life is permanently improved due to the expertise and talent Kraska has in talking to people on the Spectrum. -
Sanity Now
(August 21, 2019, 12:23 pm)My daughter went from not wanting to leave the house to taking Driver’s Ed and playing Tennis with me (among other things) because of Dr. Russ. My daughter has suffered from Emetophobia for 6 years now. Two years ago, I was blessed enough to find Dr. Russ through a google search. Not only does Dr. Russ specialize in Emetophobia, but his daughter also suffered from it. When we started seeing Dr. Russ, my daughter had been suffering from Emetophobia for 4 years, so the fear was paralyzing at that point. She would not go anywhere because if it was too hot outside, she felt nauseous, and thought she would throw up. If she went in the car, she felt car sick and felt like she would throw up. She lost a lot of weight because she didn’t want to eat hardly any food, to assure herself she would not throw up. It was terrible and very hard for our whole family to see her that way.
Dr. Russ has gave her her teenage life back and help me get my daughter back. I can’t come up with the words to let Dr. Russ know how grateful I am to him. We are still going to see him, but she is almost all better. She now makes drives to Myrtle Beach to see her family, she is at a healthy weight, goes outside in the heat to play tennis with me, is taking Driver’s Ed to start driving, among other things I thought would never be possible again.

Prior to joining Carolinas Counseling, she served with Overseas Missionary Fellowship and Wycliffe Bible Translators for over 15 years. Patti McMillan, MEd, LCMHC, a licensed Clinical Mental Health counselor, joined the group after working in agency, school, and university settings.
