Things had been getting worse and worse for many years, and I felt totally stuck. I didn't know what to do, but I finally felt that I needed to take action. Matt was the person who allowed me to do just that.
There is something about his genuine empathy and curiosity that make him an incredibly effective therapist. Over the course of our almost two years working together, I always felt supported and valued by Matt, but that did not keep him from pointing out things that were difficult for me to hear.
Over the course of our time together, I have transitioned into a phase of life where I am more confident in who I am and the relationships I'm part of. I have greater emotional skills to handle the ups and downs of life.
