To Victoria B who chose to post her demeaning review about St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church. Your review was not from the Holy Spirit. And regarding your comment about the church fathers: They said, as the Bible says, that in the end days, the love of many will turn cold.. All the priests here are stellar and full of love. In my 14 years, I've never heard of anyone getting handed 'financial paperwork." When people donate to a cause through the church or to the church itself, it's out of love not obligation or pressure. Even if it's true that a priest didn't get back to you for a week and a half you could've called again. In illness we find humility not pride; pride is from the evil one, just as our church fathers have taught us. Pride often makes people wanna act out, in humility we find Christ that's who we go to church for.☦️
It is great. Otomatikly felt like family from first Sunday!
Hello and God bless you. My name is Serhii, I lived in Ukraine, now I am a military refugee, I was forced to leave my house with my girlfriend, we lived in the Lugansk region, this is one of the most dangerous zones of this war. My city is now under Russian occupation. We are a young couple who found themselves in a very difficult situation with virtually no means of subsistence in a foreign country. We are now in the refugee camp of the International Red Cross. We pray to God for help every day, now I pray to you too. If you can become a sponsor for us under the "Uniting for Ukraine" program, please contact me via WhatsAPP messenger, my number is +37062320810. I wish all good for you, peace and God be with you.
VERY diverse congregation. Greek, Middle Eastern ,Russian, Georgian, Ethiopian and more. Father Steve is very direct and tells it like it needs to be. Feel very comfortable with the church. Great Cub Scouts program with Pack 490 to get involved with also. Picture is from the Agape picnic that the church sponsors for Easter. Crispy lamb on the charcoal! Yummy!
