We arrived with our dog and sat on a bench on the outside. They have an area that you serve your self to get your own water for your dog, which is perfect. The outside area is huge and I can assume pre-COVID this area would be packed all the time. Yet, when we came it was not as filled/busy as it should be. To me, it was sad on that part.
Although I could order my beer outside, I ended up ordering it inside because you need to place your food order at the bar inside. The atmosphere inside is a typical German Hall. Reminded me of being back over there.
The bar staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered an appetizer, which they initially had difficulty separating the order from appetizer to the main course. After some discussion, they were able to accomplish this task.
The food overall was good and the beer was fresh. I would visit this establishment again.
