Ruby Alterations & Cleaners

I'm a bit late on making a review but I had a good experience getting my wedding dress and my reception dress altered. It's my first time getting my clothes altered and I was given recommendations of what would be best for the alterations. It was honest opinions and I was given a choice to decide what I wanted done. I had gotten both of my dresses altered on the sleeves, gotten the wedding dress bustled which I sadly didn't get use and had my reception dress length taken in a couple of inches since I'm pretty short. Overall, I would recommend giving Ruby alterations & cleaners a chance since the amount of adjustments are fairly reasonable.

We absolutely loved how my daughter’s prom dress turned out. On our first visit to discuss what we wanted she took her time and she didn’t rush. She called me to confirm the adjustments for the dress before she changed anything. I received everything that I paid for. She was wonderful. Loved the staff and service.

I started using Ruby earlier this year because I needed my wedding dress altered. Now I use her for all my garments! Ruby knows her stuff; she’s able to offer suggestions and knows exactly where to alter. The wedding dress came out amazing and fit like a glove! Despite always being busy with customers, Ruby offers quick service, is always super friendly, and has reasonable prices - I’m a customer for life!

Ruby’s Alterations is the best tailoring business I have EVER used and I mean that! I’ve been a regular customer of hers for about 3 years now and when I tell you nobody does it quite like her and her team. They have truly perfected the craft of tailoring and altering clothing to your satisfaction and are the only tailor I trust with my clothes/uniforms. They also recently renovated/expanded and the new shop looks amazing and is now twice as big and nice as before! By far the best tailor I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a ton) Will always choose Ruby’s Alterations in Charlotte for any of my tailoring needs. 15/10 recommend this business!

Ruby has been doing alterations for me for years. I moved across the city about 2 years ago and I still use her. I always have to have the shoulders and length adjusted on all my dresses. The service is very friendly and prompt. I’ve never had a complaint about her work. The shop has been expanded recently and provides a nice experience when having to try on clothes.
