“When I come to this restaurant, I find the employees to be kind and the orders fulfilled in a quick amount of time by Popeyes standards. Also, no fast food chicken sandwich can touch the Spicy Fried wich at Popeyes. This locations is one of the better ones I’ve been to. The interior is a bit dirty, and some other food options are not very good, but as long as you stick to fried chicken (especially the sandwich), you will not be disappointed.”

“We started going to Play date Speech Therapy a month ago and I cannot be happier with the results I am seeing so far. I have identical twin boys who were diagnosed last June with a severe delay in their expressive speech. We followed through with the evaluation by seeing a therapist once a week for three months through the state. We ended up cancelling the services after the therapist left for a position elsewhere and to be honest we were not seeing much improvement in the boys’ speech. Uma Kalani, our therapist at Playdate Speech Therapy, has been a Godsend. My twins are wanting to talk more and make the effort to form new sounds, which is quite an improvement from where they started a month ago. They love going to her space, playing and learning from her and even have a hard time leaving they love it so much. I find myself learning how to be a better and more confident teacher/guide for my kids at home to help improve their speech. I can’t recommend Uma and this business enough for all of the wonderful improvements we are seeing in such a short amount of time!”

“We trusted Midwood Pet Sitting with the care of our two cats over the Christmas holiday. Rebecca and her team were phenomenal from the moment of first contact. She took the time to learn our house and the unique personalities of both our kitties several weeks before our reservation began. While they were sitting we got detailed daily updates, adorable photos, and even some celebratory videos when our shy cat finally emerged and began to play. The Midwood Pet Sitting team was very consistent in the time of day they visited (good for animals on a routine), loving and enthusiastic in their play and care with our furry guys, and incredibly responsive to us as clients whenever we had questions or updates. “After a couple of times trying to visit NC Red, we didn't do our homework to check their hours before going, we were excited to finally get to try this place out. For those of you that don't know, NC Red resides in the historic Charlotte landmark formerly known as the Penguin. A bitter sweet story that really has nothing to do with this review or how much we loved NC Red...I'm just building some QC Street cred.... Since my family and I are still very cautious of who we are around and where we eat in the age of -Rona we were very happy to see plenty of outdoor seating available. Immediately seated we were offered drinks and menus. We ordered a couple of drinks, a red wine and glass of bourbon but nothing to really speak of, and an appetizer of raw oysters. They were $1.50 per oyster which is a home run with my family! Enough of the warm and fuzzies though, off to the main attraction - Nashville hot chicken. This is where it's at, y'all. When I heard the story of the Rhode Island chef bringing a fusion southern flare meets New England I was thinking this was a train wreck I had to witness. WOW - what a great job they did. I have had Nashville hot chicken in many places (yes, Nashville is one of the many) and this is possibly the best I've had. The chicken was perfectly fried and I loved the hot sauce they used. Full of flavor and enough heat to legitimize use of the work "hot" in the name. Our server was really over the top too. He was entertaining and engaging and I never felt rushed even though he had a ton of tables. A great meal, great experience and glad that the history of the location can live on through another chapter.”
