(October 20, 2021, 8:37 pm)If you are new to the Charlotte/LKN Norman area or a 5th generation "native" this is one place you MUST visit. The docent was so informative and interesting. The Torance family lived on the property for 6 generations. It is a 1779 log cabin with a 1805 addition. How much do you know about the families that settled here in the 1700s and began creating a community that became Mecklenburg Cty?

(September 24, 2018, 4:04 pm)Really cool place to visit! Feels like you step back in time! After driving past many times we wanted to stop in and see what it was! A lot of history and cool information on the area here!! They have unique hours so just make sure they are open when you go!
