“Dr. Abernathy is an amazing doctor. A friend recommended her and we scheduled a consultation for my husband after the medical profession gave up and sent us home with instructions on what to do when he had a stroke - not if - but when. He had extensive radiation and chemo several years prior for throat cancer and had a completely blocked left carotid artery and only 20% flow in the right , as well as extremely high blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid problems. Now a year later, he is off of all prescription medication, his blood pressure and glucose are stable and he is in much better health. The last carotid ultrasound showed an an improvement on the right carotid to 49% flow. Dr. Abernathy is extremely knowledgeable orders labs that are needed to look at every aspect of the body to determine what the problems are, the best approach to addressing the issues with diet changes, supplements, and anything that she has found to be applicable. Her recommendations are based on sound research and experience. We have been extremely impressed with her expertise and are honored to be her patient. Our 23 year old daughter has struggled with strange allergic reactions since she was 4 years old, that the medical profession has been unable to identify. After her initial consultation, Dr. Abernathy scheduled a series of labs that helped her pinpoint exactly what her problems were. Through the various labs, she was able to confirm these food allergies from various angles so that there was no doubt. She recommended diet and lifestyle changes as well as supplements and our daughter is much better and knows exactly what foods she needs to avoid.
