“My oh my, I have been driving by this place and missing out! Their English is limited so if you don’t speak Spanish bring something/someone to help you translate. The food is surprisingly GOOD! The lady at the counter is so sweet. Doesn’t speak a bit of English but sweet as pumpkin pie! I go for breakfast mainly but they do offer lunch at breakfast time and I have yet to be disappointed! Very accommodating! Authentic and fast!”

“Had to add another 5 star review to combat the very few disgruntled negative ones here. I have been coming here for YEARS and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for a "pretty" place then this is not your venue. If you're looking for good SOUL FOOD, this place is it. I've run into some challenges with call ins, but only on busy Sunday afternoons after church, and they are always accommodating. As for the long hair... do you wear a hair net in your own kitchen, and has it caused issues? Again, if you're influenced by aesthetics, there are other places that will charge more and give you less. As for the prices, VERY reasonable for the amount of food you get. I will continue to come here!”

“At 8am on a Saturday after a late night there's nothing better than skipping the shower, throwing on some clothes from the floor and hitting up waffle House. $8 gets you more food than you can eat and it's pretty good at that. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and grits were all up to par. Our waitress was also super nice to us while we were there.”

“Cocoa's claims to specialized in authentic Jamaican dishes. Let's authenticate that claim with an emphatic hell yes they do! The jerk chicken was as authentic as Negril is beautiful. The chicken was grilled and smoked to perfection and the jerk sauce that topped it was spicy. But instead of overpowering the chicken, it added a layer of flavor that really brought out the smoky flavor of the chicken. The greens we're flavorful with the right texture. But the belle of the ball was the succulent Jamaican styled whole red snapper! The fish was moist and full of the that swag Jamaican flavor one would expect when dining in Jamaica. Yeah Mon!”

“Clean parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. Clean vestibule. Clean interior. I did not visit the restroom to know its condition. The bar was clean and the bartender was pleasant. I ordered a 1/2 rack of Jack Daniels rubs, fries, and a short. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty and the short was cold and refreshing. I went at lunch and paid around $21.00 which was good to me. I would recommend this establishment.”
