Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service

Shanell and Darryl were what I needed most at this emotional and sad time. Shanell answered my questions at midnight because the hospice my husband was dying in needed to know the funeral home I would use within the next few hours. (That will be another review). Shanell could not have been nicer and more informative about a simple cremation and the costs. I decided to use them and could not have been happier. Darryl who handled all the paperwork and answered every and any question with patience and concern was a 10 out of 10. Darryl and Shanell provided some calm and peace to a terrible day. Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend.

When we found out that my FIL only had a few months to live, I called Midstate. Shanell was very professional and understanding with the circumstances. She answered every question we had without sugar coating anything. Then when my FIL passed away before his doctor's given time, we called her back up and had to tweak everything. She was very helpful and redirected us to what would be a better option for our finances. 10/10 recommend.

Unlike the guy below, I have had a great experience with the faculty and staff. They all are very nice and friendly, they were never on the phone and had everything ready when we arrived. I would recommend this place before going anywhere else simply because you can not beat the price nor how nice the people are that work here. Also I would say the people who work here are far from “clowns” unlike the rude reviewer below.

We could not have asked for a better experience. Nichole personally got to know my father the week before he passed away -- she quickly transitioned to a caring and personable family liaison during cremation and funeral arrangements. I can't recommend them highly enough. My Mom was so comforted by the process that she is planning to prearrange her cremation with Midstate. My entire family would agree with this 5 star review -- thank you for making a difficult time a little easier.
