Country Club Day Activity

My 94 year-old mother moved into Anthology of Troy six weeks ago. Mom was in an independent living apartment prior, and had been increasingly struggling with day-to-day tasks and required a lot of “on site” support to keep her safe and healthy. Although she was rarely happy with her living situation, and only went to community meals occasionally, she made it clear to all that she did not want to move. It was a difficult decision to move Mom, but we knew it had to happen, so we started investigating multiple assisted living communities in our area (Troy and Rochester Hills).

After weeks of searching, one facility stood out…. Anthology of Troy. Kaitlyn and Shelby professionally and expertly guided us through the decision, leasing and moving processes. Everything was seamless, everything that we were promised happened, and in every case the staff performed above and beyond our expectations. Most importantly, Mom is now happy, well cared for, and safe! She is eating at least two meals in the restaurant every day, and she is participating in social activities. She loves the hairdresser (Margo), and the physical therapist (Maria). If you are in need of assisted living for your loved one, I strongly recommend you consider Anthology of Troy!

My mother has been a resident at Anthology of Troy for the last four years. The staff does an outstanding job caring for our family members. The leadership is very professional in handling difficult situations (Covid, flu and a building flood when a pipe burst) always putting their residence first in their decision making. I have personally taken the time to get to know many of the staff members and can tell you that quality care and kindness is at the top of their list of priorities. The staff at Anthology of Troy are super professional and always go out of their way to make residents and families feel confortable. They provide exceptional care! The building is clean and the decor is so cute! I always love visiting with them❤ I would recommend this place to anyone needing to find a nice place for their loved one.

I really can’t say enough good things about this facility. The decor is beautiful, it’s clean and the staff-oh the staff, they are truly amazing people! My father in law had many special needs and they could not have been more accommodating. Not only was every detail attended to, but it was done with compassion and kindness. This was one of the most difficult times in our family’s lives and the folks at Anthology did so much to comfort us and help us acclimate my loved one. I’m not sure what more a person could ask for. A special shout out to Kaitlyn and Shelby, they really went above and beyond and we are so grateful!

My mother has been in Memory Care at Anthology of Troy for 3 years and my mother-in-law in Assisted Living for 2 years. I have found the staff to be very caring and very professional. If there have been any concerns I have communicated them to the appropriate people and they were resolved. You cannot judge a senior living residence by one moment in time, but by the overall work and care provided. I can, however, provide two “moments” that show the caring of the loving people working at Anthology of Troy. When visiting my mother on Christmas day another resident’s family member needed help with getting an item for her father and the director of memory care came in on her day off to help her out. And although my mother-in-law was out of town for her 101st birthday, when she returned four days after, the staff had still decorated her door in celebration and with well wishes. Trivial? Maybe. But these are things that could have just as easily not been done. I am very grateful for the caring and loving people working at Anthology of Troy.
