Dan River Campground and River Adventures

This company is amazing. I Cant rave about them enough!! Most amazing experience of kindness and caring for their customers ive ever had in my 41 years. They dont make many businesses like this anymore.

We were told not to expect much from sometime who had camped with old owners. When we checked in found that Nick and his wife had just bought it 3 weeks before. We have been several times now. The bathhouses are very clean and we'll maintained. The pool is crystal clear. Heart went out to them when we saw the flooding but they picked right up and got it done, Highly recommend here.

Years ago, when our children were young, we went tent camping every summer. Since they grew up and moved into their own adult lives, we have tried many styles of vacation. Motels do NOT suit us, nor does the non-stop eating out, which most vacations seem to entail. So, now we have purchased a small camping trailer and are scouting for new (to us) camp grounds. We had no idea there was such a gorgeous campground only 20 miles from home! We were impressed on the drive in with the beauty and peacefulness of the area. We liked finding a gated entry, understanding that the owners are determined to provide security for their guests. They allowed us access to drive through the area once we told them we were scouting for new places to camp. Without a doubt, this will be the first campground we venture into with our new rig! Sites are level, easily accessible, and hookups are well-maintained. The expansive grounds are beautiful, secluded, and are also well-maintained. If this introductory experience is any indication, I suspect actually camping there will be delightful!
