  I've had a few surgeries over the past couple years each by Dr. Eric J. Mallico, MD. He's become more of a friend rather than a doctor. I've seen alot of doctors over the past two year with my medical journey. This man right here has been there since day one, he is the best Surgeon/Doctor at Novant hands down. I trust this man, and his team with my life each and every time with every procedure they have performed. (~7 times)

  Dr. Mallico is a great doctor and surgeon. Always friendly and wanting the best for his patients. Great bedside manner. Office staff is also great.

  Dr. Mallico is amazing at what he does! I recommend him if you are looking into bariatric surgery. However, I do NOT recommend seeing Grectchen. I became very sick shortly after surgery and ended up making numerous appts trying to get some answers as to why I was so sick. I assumed it was from the surgery. Every time I went to see her, she would tell me to go home and eat and drink and that I wasn't doing what I was suppose to do or else I wouldn't be so sick. Come to find out I had a severe bladder infection that had turned into Pylo and was almost spectic. She did nothing to help me! Again, Dr. Mallico ROCKS!!

  Dr. Mallico and all of his staff are wonderful people to work with. They are very sensitive and encouraging. They listen and understand their overweight patients struggles. Their program is not a quick fix. If you want a quick fix this is not for you. Their program takes dedication. You receive a lot of help and guidance. And sometimes a kick in the rear, which I needed, to help motivate positive changes to get to a healthier you. Weight loss surgery is a tool. It is life changing. I have lost over 100lbs. I will forever hold a special place in my heart for Dr. Mallico and his team, (Gretchen, Kristy, Michelle), and his nurses who are quick to give you a hug when you have had a bad week or simply to encourage you. All of them helped me get to this point and I know they will be there for me in the future as I continue to loose weight.
