  What a great place. It was wet and cold when we visited but it must be gorgeous when dry and bright.

  What a beautiful, wonderful, historic area! Nice people and nice shops. Nice meal outside at Mama's Ts.

  Absolutely wonderful place to wander around. Quaint, historic, and a glimpse of the past. Definitely worth a walk around tour of you are in the area. Just one quick picture for the feel of the park.

  Touring and learning about the historic sites of Gold Hill was very interesting!!! I have lived here most of my life yet have never toured Gold Hill. Seeing the jail, and the post office and the General Store ,The Mineshaft where history has been made here in North Carolina makes me proud to be a North Carolinian!! A great thing to do with the family! Also for those interested they had a wide assortment arts and crafts.

  We had a family reunion/ gathering on Sunday. This Park offers a nice air Condition building to rent for parties. They have rest rooms close by also. It was very large and convenient for our family to use. We have been using it for several years now.
