  We recently moved to the area. My disabled son is visiting area churches to hopefully find himself a new home church. He has visited this church a couple of times. He is still visiting a couple others but was really impressed with the people at this church as was I. They were very welcoming to him and made him feel at home

  As I was traveling from Murphy North Carolina to lumberton n.c and back I experienced an unforseen breakdown. Actually 3 of them! I attend the Providence Presbyterian church in Murphy North Carolina and decided that with no more money for parts, I would attend the Sunday morning service and give it all to GOD! From the the time I walked in that church and those folks not knowing who I was, I felt welcome! There's a love in that church and it sought after me to help me with my problem. The Lord our God worked through those people and blessed me! I called other church organizations only to be referred to other denominations. It would seem to me that those other organizations and denominations are willing to recieve my tithes but not help me in disparaging times! Locust Presbyterian church is the place for me. GOD bless them all. And again, thank you for your help and kindness!

  This is a great church. We hold the West Stanly Rotary Meeting there. It's a very caring Church in Locust NC

  Great group of committed and friendly believers. Blended worship with really good messages and witness to community and world. Worship recently became more contemporary - main service is on Sundays at 10:00 AM.
