  I've been wanting to try Grits for quite some time and finally stopped by and got breakfast on my to work. So glad I did! The best breakfast I've had in the area! The grits were so creamy, perfect consistency and the eggs-wow! Fluffy and perfectly seasoned. The sweet gal who waited on me was so pleasant and kind which I sure appreciate. I'll be back for sure. I highly recommend them for breakfast (I'll try lunch soon and review after ????) Can't beat the prices either, $4.26 for a FULL breakfast! ????????

  Some of the best food you’ll get in waxhaw! Small place with big food and big flavor, the staff are very friendly and make the experience just as good as the food. They have a daily menu that changes, breakfast and lunch are so amazing. If you’re ever in the area make the stop at grits, you will not regret it!

  Take out and eat in Car is your best strategy. Great food. But if you eat inside you will experience hard working rural folks who are a delight.

Grits Home Cookin' is just adorable...it's a little hole in the wall but you will get A+ service and totally delicious home cooked soul food. They've got all the essentials; fried squash, fried okra, peach cobbler, sweet tea, catfish, livers, pork chops, burgers, potatoes (fried, mashed, tots), and on and on.
