  Always the best! I'm 47 years old and this place has been in business ever since I can remember. Their chicken is top notch, and I'd put it up against granny's home fried chicken anytime. Nothing beats home cooking, but Hathaway's sure can compete! The gizzards are melt in your mouth tender which is exceedingly rare for a restaurant to serve them that way. Most just fry them up and give them to you tough as nails. The livers are fried to perfection, tender and juicy, not hard and overcooked. If I had one small complaint, it would be the sweet tea. That stuff is almost syrup! I definitely recommend lightening up on the sugar, guys. Overall though, 5 stars and well deserved.

  3 23 2019 I got here at 12 o'clock the chicken was very good ,served fast ,chicken breast cooked just right , juicy. I can tell they keep fresh oil in the fryer, And at the right temperature.

  Hands down, one of the best friend chicken you'll ever have in your life ... seriously! It's a small place with a small parking lot ... easy to miss. Definitely worth a visit!

  Absolutely excellent. Great chicken and fixings at low pricing. Very very good food.

  One of Union County's finest in Chicken. Over 50 years in business by no accident.
  If you got the hankering for some Good Fried Chicken and Fixings like Grandma's, then you got to try this place. You won't be disappointed.
