(July 15, 2018, 2:24 pm)While some may find Pleasant Grove an oddity, it has been where some of my family and friends have gathered together each year since before my great grandparents were born. Daily "revival - oriented" services by the local United Methodist church for a week in mid-July, and most participants stay in "tents" (small wooden houses with electricity, plumbing, and sometimes air conditioning). A step back into the past and away from the fast pace of modern life, Pleasant Grove is an amazing tradition that lives on and thrives through the love of generations.
