  We found a small little bird in the parking lot where I work. It appeared to have an injured leg and was unable to fly. I reached out to a few places unsure of what could be done, but knowing I couldn’t leave it there to die. The staff at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue responded quickly and were happy to have me drop off our little feathered friend. They explained their process and were incredibly kind and caring. While some may think why bother with such a tiny little bird that may not make it, they were so happy that I brought her/him in to them for help. It makes me feel so good knowing he/she is getting the care they need and are in good hands. I feel even better knowing I now have a place I can take injured animals I find in the future!!

  Full disclosure..... I recently began volunteering with Carolina Waterfowl on the hotline remotely. This has given me true insight to everything they are all doing. It’s amazing. Everyone goes ABOVE and beyond to bend over backwards to help animals other people would completely overlook. I’ve never even met these people but they’ve welcomed me into their circle of like minded individuals who just want to do right by the animals. It takes a village and this is one I’m happy to be a part of.

  These people are relentlessly amazing. Personally I have seen hundreds of animals saved due to their love and care. Thank you for all you do CWR. You make the world a better place.

  This amazing group of volunteers work tirelessly to help so many birds, cows, donkey and emu couples, pigs and too many more to name. Whether it's rescuing a single injured bird or taking in 100's of animals from cocktail fighting busts, neglect and abandonment or hurricane evacuation...CWR is always there. And remember...all of this awesome work is done by volunteers and donations!!
  
  Awesome rescue! We have adopted 13 of our "babies" from CWF. You couldn't ask for a better group of loving people.
