“In 2006 we had Thomas and his crew come into our house in Marvin Creek to paint a few rooms. There was some tall walls and I really didn't know how they would go about it because I sure couldn't figure out how I would. Thomas and his crew came in while I was still at work and when I got home my wife said you would believe this... they had beautifully painted all of that tall room that was the center piece of the house and had quickly and with precision moved to the other areas of the house. It took them one day to finish a lot of house. You may ask why is this guy writing this review so many years later... the answer to that is... we have since moved and as I sit here with my wife wanting to paint we thought of Thomas and A Brighter World Painting. Now for the sun to rise again soon and us to call him and try to get them out here to get started on this project. ”

“Joann was great! I have an eleven year old outdoor dog who does not like going to the vet at all! Having Joann come to us saved so much stress for me and my sweet boy. He was able to remain comfortable in his own yard and didn't have to be stressed about other dogs, new sterile smells, and not being able to pee where he wanted. Joann was very sweet and patient. I asked her to look at my dog's leg because he was limping, which she did. But then she began to examine other things she noticed he might be struggling with. She then walked me through the best options for a dog his age and my budget. She catered to both our needs. I feel very comfortable with trusting Joann for my dogs' needs. I am so excited that I found her. Both of my dogs are older and being able to save them the stress of having to travel to the vet every so often is well worth it. I will absolutely be using services from Joann again!”

“This is our first year at UDS, we have had a wonderful experience. Our son looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers and comes home with a big smile on his face full of stories of what they have been learning. Communication has been great, questions have been answered promptly and we get regular updates from teachers via both email and the teachers app including pictures and details of current activities and learning. The school moved from Waxhaw to Weddington and is currently undergoing an extensive expansion with the addition of the middle school. The PTO is active and effective and continues to grow with regular events. We are looking forward to the future at Union Day School.”

“I use this library often. Why pay $$ for new books when you can just check them out?! I use their website to place books on-hold, they text me once they arrive and I go pick them up. There's a self-check-out now and a drive-up return box in the back parking lot if you don't want to go in. You can also renew books online. My kids always like going and looking at books. Such a novelty ;-)”
