I heard about PRP from a friend who got it for the pain in the joints of his knees with great results, he told me that PRP works also for hair restoration in a natural way, so I decided to go to Dr Zacco for my first PRP.
Dr Zacco and Melissa were very clear, realistic and transparent on how PRP works and what the results to be expected are, as well as timelines and follow-ups regarding it.
They treated me really well and were very supportive despite my inner fobia to needles.
I was even given delicious snacks as a bonus for being brave

I had my procedure in October of 2019 and I thought I would never see hair grow on my head, as I tried so many different options prior to my hair transplant with Dr Zacco and none seamed to work for me. Since October after having my hair transplant, you can barely see my bald spots on my head. I am so impressed with Dr Zacco that I came back for a 2nd procedure. In addition, his team is very professional and respectful, especially Melissa. She is absolutely wonderful and amazing. Not only am I happy with my new look, but so is my wife and family. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Zacco and his team to perform your hair transplant. He truly puts his heart and sole into his work. Thanks Dr Zacco, looking forward to my 2nd procedure.

I'm a 46 year old female that was losing my hair (jn clumps) from telogen effluvium and I went to 2 dermatologists who told me there was NOTHING I can do. I was determined to go another route. I found Dr. Zacco and his office Manager Melissa. I had a very long consultation with him that did not feel rushed. He asked me so many questions the dermatologists never even asked. He went as far as looking at my fingernails, skin color with and without makeup on, asked me for my blood test results, etc. He was so thorough before he even did PRP treatment on me. He is so professional and Melissa is so efficient and friendly. She answered my emails the same day, sometimes late at night even! I was so impressed with his office, professionalism, and consult that I had PRP treatment done that day. They were so gentle and caring throughout the whole thing. I felt very comfortable and he sanitized my scalp before anything which made me feel even more secure in having the treatment done with him. 2 weeks after the 1st treatment I had very little shed in the shower when I washed my hair. I was completely amazed. I went from losing clumps to hardly losing anything. Its been over a month and I am going back this week for my 2nd treatment. I already have regrowth and I recommend anybody who wants to consider PRP to have a consultation with them. Seriously, the best! I may consider PRP for other things in the future. Love this practice and they work so wel together!

Mere words cannot measure how grateful I am for Dr. Zacco’s fervent commitment to excellence!  He sets a standard for himself that surely no patient, however optimistic or demanding, would expect him to achieve.  It is said that the canvass on which Shakespeare performed his brilliance was a blank sheet of paper.  For Dr. Zacco, the canvass is a blank (i.e. hairless) scalp, or portion of scalp.
I parted with thousands of dollars in 2012 for the services of another hair-transplant physician, who did little more than create a fissure from which follicles could be extracted and implanted.  He then turned me over to a staff of what seemed like young kids while he meandered about (presumably) checking on other patients who were having the same procedure performed.

Dr. Zacco, on the other hand, never left my side for the whole of my visit.  The only hands continually touching my scalp were his.  The only patient in the office was me.  While he ensured a capable staff of professionals was monitoring all critical elements of the procedure, the only person doing the work of a doctor was the doctor.  In my exhaustive research of hair transplant specialists, I came to feel like a customer who was being sold a product or service.  With Dr. Zacco, I felt like a patient being consulted by a medical professional.

From my perspective, anyone who makes a hair transplant decision without meeting Dr. Zacco will have acted hastily and imprudently.  If Dr. Zacco were an airline, all the “passengers” would be riding first-class……for the price of “coach”.  Conversely, in 2012, I rode coach for the price of first-class.

I cannot, in good conscience, close without paying tribute to Melissa, Dr. Zacco’s office manager and closest assistant.  She is a consummate professional, whose very presence is a symbol of Dr. Zacco’s fervent commitment to excellence.
