  What do moving to a different state, starting a new job, a break-up from a long term relationship, and a pandemic all have in common? They wreaked absolute havoc on my mental health and had my crying in a dark corner most days. (Can you tell I use humor as a coping mechanism?) All this to say, when I finally got the courage to seek help I found Cary Behavioral Health and I am forever grateful I did. I've been a patient for a year and a half now and the amount of growth and healing I've had is unimaginable. Is my life perfect? No. Did I solve all my problems/issues? No. But I did receive much-needed support and gained the tools and resources I needed to LIVE my life. I found peace for myself and contentment with my life, which anyone who has suffered with mental health issues can you tell is a HUGE DEAL. Special thanks to Megan and Jessica at CBH who have been my personal heroes in bringing me back from the dark.
