  Dropped off my VW golf 2014 to this mechanic shop because it had the check engine light on and off several times, and it stalled on me twice recently. I agreed for them to run a level-2 test/evaluation on it but they told me that they didn't find any serious issue and lowered the test to level 1, which costs only half of the original price. They also didn't recommend any additional fix since they test drove my car and found that it runs quite smooth. They told me that I could bring it back once the engine light comes back on again, and by that time they would be able to run a more thorough inspection on my car. I really appreciate their honesty in this service, and the free loaner car is really convenient for me. The only little suggestion that I can make is that, the driver's seat of the loaner car seems to be a little far from the front, and somehow I could not adjust it to be close enough. As a short lady as I am, I need to stretch my right leg to reach the brake pedal and the accelerator.

  IMW took care of my Audi for a couple of years when the warranty expired, I was always happy with the timely service, accurate estimates, and keeping me up to date during the repairs. Today they went above and beyond....I needed to get a copy of an old repair record, and Tammy personally got involved to search through their database to find it, and she couldn't have been nicer. It was a favor to me so that I can get reimbursed from Audi on a repair now covered under a CA settlement as I know longer have that Audi and the records. Thank you IMW!!! Great shop and great people.

  IMW recently took care of some larger maintenance items, new tires, alignment, and window tinting for my Cayenne. Prices were definitely better than the Porsche dealer. So was the service. Michael kept me apprised of the status throughout - I really appreciated that. I like their online interface for reviewing the work. They also gave me a loaner car. I will definitely go back to them for future work.

  I can't recommend these guys enough. I brought my 1998 BMW 328i (E36) in for what I thought was a brake system issue (shaking during braking) and it turned out to be much, much deeper than that. Brakes were fine, but the suspension and other elements of my car were having major issues. Roy called me and gave a detailed description of what repairs were needed immediately, what could wait, and how much I'd be looking at in $ repairs in the near-term. Roy also provided me pictures and gave me an estimate for the non-urgent repairs so I could make an informed decision on what to do about my car. I decided against doing the repairs because it was far over my budget (their estimate was VERY reasonable - just too much wrong with my car), but I am so, so grateful they were honest with me up front about the condition of my car. It turns out other shops I had taken my car to had done a, let's say "sub-par" job on previous repairs, leading to further issues in the same problem areas in the future. Thanks again to the IMW team for being an honest shop in such an dishonest world. I'm sad to be letting my BMW go, but if I ever have an import again in the future these guys will be my first stop. I'm also really grateful that the team here supported me throughout the process and not once tried to pressure me on completing the repairs, even after they spent what I assume is many hours working on my vehicle. - Grant
