Vector AeroMedical made possible a family reunion that we thought would be impossible . My husband has a very rare brain disorder called CBD which has progressed to the point that he requires a very large, customized wheelchair that couldn't go into a regular airplane. Since this was a reunion that we had gone to for over 10 years, and was an opportunity for us to see grandchildren from California, Washington, Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina, we were very disappointed at the thought of missing it. My daughter in Raleigh contacted Vector AeroMedical, and our trip from Birmingham, Al. was arranged. Every one involved did their job with courtesy, efficiency, and understanding concern, from the lady in the office to the pilot and co-pilot and paramedic. CBD can cause extreme anxiety, but their professionalism and calmness completely put my husband at ease and we had an uneventful trip both ways. Vector AeroMedical did a fantastic job of transporting my father, who has an advanced neurological disease, along with my mother and my father's caregivers. Their coordinator, pilots, and medical staff were professional, considerate, and caring, and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They made the experience as easy as possible for my parents and their helpers. We highly recommend them, and would use them again without any hesitation.
The staff at Vector Aeromedical are courteous and helpful. When a family is facing an air ambulance need for their family member, the last thing they need is to be faced with a bunch of logistical challenges. These folks handle everything from start to finish. They arrange ground transportation (not only the patient but family members as well) to the aircraft. Once on board they treat everyone as if they were charter customers on a multi-million dollar jet. The nurses and paramedics are amazing in their medical care, but their attention to customer service details is mind blowing. I hope you never HAVE to use their services, but if you are in need... call Vector Aeromedical.
