  Participating in Y2 academy, the environment was very informative and extremely helpful. Preparing for the ACT, the I received lots of assistance and a solid work schedule through Y2.

  Y2 Academy is one of the highest educational resources that I can recommend to students. It helped several of my fellow students and friends to achieve top scores, and helped me to achieve a perfect score of a 36 on the ACT. The staff is very friendly and understanding of students, and is always there to help. I truly believe that for any student that is willing to put in the hard work needed for such a feat, Y2 Academy is the single best program to help them achieve a top score.

  Y2 helped me a lot to reach my optimal scores. The SAT class was one of the best experiences I had. Through the classes and the guidance of Mr. Lo I was able to get in to some of my dream schools

  Y2 does a really good job of creating a test-like environment that makes you not nervous for the actual sat! The students are all very motivated and they encouraged each other. Teachers do their best to answer your questions! Come here for great sat practice!

  Y2 is honestly a great place to go for your SAT or ACT preparation over the summer. Most of the negative reviews really overexaggerate the circumstances at Y2, or even just fabricate lies, but here's a good rundown of what Y2 has to offer.
  
  Positives:
  +huge score increase (netted me a 1590)
  +positive atmosphere (lots of students in your skill level to become friends with)
  +great staff and proctors (seriously, they're not only knowledgeable but also fun and friendly)
  +competitive (but not overbearing, it just helps you get the motivation to do better)
  +lots of practice tests and materials (that you can do on your own time, such as grammar practice and etc.)
  
  "Negatives":
  -short lunch time (though it gets better throughout the year)
  -long day (it's necessary though, so not exactly a negative)
  -homework (only takes around 3 hours if you manage your time well, we're teenagers so we procrastinate/get distracted a lot, so don't blame that on Y2)
  
  That's pretty much it. It's a really good place if you want to have top-of-the-line SAT prep and make some friends along the way. It's actually a pretty fun experience once you get to know the teachers, students, and proctors. It's a time commitment, for sure, but it's well worth the effort.
