Nice place to visit although there is not too much in the selection for men. An idle browse should definitely turn up something for anyone though.

i absolutely love it here!! super good prices and super friendly staff, i talked with stephen recently and he was extremely helpful. i’ve been a loyal customer for 2 years and i recommend this place to everyone!

Update: over the years, my wife has had more positive moments here. We only purchased other products (other than furniture) and have been overall satisfied.
Old review: I've given this place a try a few times. Nothing is really worth it. When we did buy furniture there, even at 50% off their normal prices (still pretty high) and then came to find out the drawers in the dresser didn't really work right after about a week. When we tried to donate there, none of our stuff was "good enough" (surprising considering the junk they sell). Then we started going to Snapdragon and down to Angier for their thrift shops. We won't be going back to Guardian Angel, there are too many other better thrift stores, not to mention yard sales and craigslist.
