(March 11, 2020, 12:41 pm)I've struggled with my cholesterol since I was a teen (I'm in my 40s now). I ate ok and exercised pretty diligently but I just couldn't get my numbers to improve. I started seeing Kim at this location about 1.5 years ago. My cholesterol has come down and my lifestyle has changed. Kim works with your lifestyle and preferences and doesn't push any agenda on you other than healthy eating and mindfulness. In the beginning, I was a meat & dairy eater. She never said to cut it out. She only suggested incorporating healthier foods first and I did end up cutting out meat & dairy gradually because I was starting to see results. My cholesterol has come down since seeing Kim and while I still get a great deal of nutritional expertise, I also get a form of therapy and accountability out of it. I highly recommend Lifestyle Medical for it's casual atmosphere and friendly folks. After 25+ years of no results, I'm finally on my way to where I need to be without resorting to meds.

My goal was to start eating healthier to prevent diseases such as cancer and so far I've lost over 30 lbs. in about 5 months due to a plant-based diet! I'm never going back to the way I was eating, my eating habits have changed for the rest of my life!
