Great personal experience, should I say the highest level of professionalism. An integrated health care, state-of-the-art medical technology for companion, equine and farm animals.

We really loved our experience here! Our bearded dragon had prolapsed (which for those of you who don't know isn't common for a bearded dragon but it isn't incredibly uncommon especially in older bearded dragons) and needed medical attention very soon before it died. We brought her here and they called and kept us updated with everything they would like to do. They kept our bearded dragon comfortable the whole time and provided us with great information for future care. We will definitely be bringing our future animals here, especially if that means that it can help veterinarians lean how to treat not so common animals! This whole experience was great even with COVID restrictions.

I have long held NC State in high esteem. As a small animal professional, it has been a reliable source to refer patients who need specialty care. As an equine enthusiast, I have been to the equine hospital many times with friend's horses and always left there impressed. This time, I had my own horse in their care and I cannot say enough good things about them. We arrived on the emergency service with a possible septic tendon (life threatening). They were ready for us and within an hour we had a diagnosis and prognosis. Dr Bridget Peal was wonderful and communicated everything in a way that was compassionate and understandable. Even going as far as sending me pictures and videos of my horse walking so I could see his progress. I could tell that Waffles had been loved and well cared for while he was there. He loved Dr. Peal and his other friends! My husband is a human paramedic and commented multiple times that this hospital is cleaner than most human facilities!
I have recommended NC State for a long time professionally; it will be my pleasure to continue to recommend them personally as well.
