I was part of the 2016 SaW Volleyball Team competed in the United World Games Summer of 2016. The team made up of players from all over the US and Canada. We are still friends and we keep in touch in social media. We played against many European teams and the level of competition was high. The trip was one of the best. It was fun, educational, and organized. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants something outside of high school and club experience in the US.

I was very fortunate to be selected as one of the coaches for The United World Games that takes place in Austria. WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP!! The trip was first class. Our first stop was Venice, Italy for a day. Great food, gondola ride through the canals, and a tour of candy making and glass blowing. We then traveled to Austria. What a beautiful country and very nice people. This is where the UWG were held. Knowing that we were representing the USA in these games gave me a strong sense of pride! Several of our athletes and coaches were able to walk in the opening parade and carry the American Flag! What a feeling. All in all, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has the opportunity. Hotel accommodations, tour guides, food, and sights were all 1st Class! So far the process has been easy, the staff great, and I am looking forward to the experience. One thing I believe everyone should know is that if you are going to purchase travel insurance you MUST do it within 21 days of your first deposit you do not qualify for "cancel for any reason" insurance. We do not plan to cancel and are ready to go on this trip of a life time but it would have been nice to know that if something happens we are not out the entire cost of the trip. So my advise...DEFINITELY TAKE THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THE GAME YOU LOVE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY BUT GET THE TRAVEL INSURANCE IMMEDIATELY!

I’ll be coaching a girls basketball team in the United World Games 2021 in Austria. Tim has been absolutely amazing through this whole process. From the interview to the online travel application process it’s been super smooth and he’s been awesome to work with. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity I know for myself and for the high school players & parents that will be going on this amazing trip where we get to represent the USA, play this amazing game & see the world. Wins all around.

SaWUSA have been absolutely fantastic to work with, especially after the pandemic through us all for a loop. Their goal is about getting these kids the best experience. And as a world traveler, I can see that they are doing so safely and economically as well. Our son looks forward to playing Lacrosse with his new teammates soon!
