Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Parking was not hard. Was able to find a spot in good time. Had to ask when leaving for elevator location, parked on level 5. Had appointment inside terminal, easy to find. All staff interacted with were VERY nice, helpful. Chose to pay cash instead of by credit card, and all three cash booths closed when leaving BUT phone number to call for help easily available, and got very helpful people and instructions, and out. The traffic load was not bad so getting in, parking, leaving was easy. First time I had to park, walk, and was not bad at all. Very nice, RDU!

Beautiful airport architecture outside and inside.Excellent traffic flow. Excellent parking facilities and a variety of parking options. Rental car location adjacent to the airport and reasonably planned. Inside is spacious and alluring with a variety of stores - more to come. Ticketing and boarding arranged intuitively. Security checks are always and issue with lines but appropriately design to move passengers as quickly as possible. Great airport.

Despite a shortage of staff to push our 2 wheelchairs, the young man literally handled both wheelchairs! A couple of elevators to the baggage claim and then he graciously pushed us to our vehicle! I was really impressed!
The parking garage was a hit! Best ever! Live plant arrangements really made a difference to a weary traveler.
Yes, in addition to a normal tip, we paid our helper handsomely. He deserves credit for his ability to handle the unexpected with strength, endurance and grace!
