We just moved to North Carolina from Chicago, and adopted a dog. With the rapid changes in our life, we've been very stressed about getting our pup the right care, as we want her to have the best life possible.
We luckily found Shiloh Animal Hospital, who have been so helpful to us as new pet parents, and new to the area. Their prices are extremely reasonable for visitation, vaccines, and prescriptions. They do a great job going through all information, as well as explaining different options available.
Their patience for our loving, energetic little girl was very much appreciated and we look forward to working with them to provide Wanda the best care possible.
Shoutout to Dr. Lauren Eyrich for being amazing!
Every encounter so far has been excellent, from the front desk to the doctors and staff. Doctors talk on our level, which is great! The kennel team seam to take extreme ownership in our furbabies as if they were their own.
I don't evaluate "dollar value" when it comes to my babies, as long as they are treated the same as I would treat them.
Thanks Shiloh!
Everyone here was very friendly and super welcoming! We took our pup and kitty together and we were in and out fairly quickly. Very clean and well maintained place as well. They don't try to push anything extra on you that they don't think your pet needs, which is so nice! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new vet. Dr. Hogg and the nurses working with her were awesome!
The best vet I have ever been to! Their fear free practices make the biggest difference with my fearful rescue dog. I really appreciate how hard they try to make him as comfortable as possible at every visit. I recommend them to all my friends!
Updated: While everything I said below regarding the veterinary care still rings true, I'm adjusting my review a bit to reflect the experience I've had with the boarding process, which has not been as positive. I know my cat has had challenges with boarding at Shiloh ever since we tried to get her nails clipped, but to learn that her food and liter weren't being changed out all while learning that she had been essentially banned from boarding with no warnings or prior notice to me came as a shock. For a clinic that I held in such high regard, I just would have expected this to be handled differently. Only dropping one star because anything else would be unfair, but this is information I would've found helpful as someone who was fairly new to boarding. Initial review of veterinary services is below.
This was my first visit at Shiloh and I LOVED it! I always felt my old vet was trying to sell me as much as she could. At Shiloh I was very impressed first by the facility, which is modern, and very well kept. In my appointment dr. Hogg (I hope the spelling is correct) and allison were great in talking to me about what they would recommend for my pet, while also taking into account that the new location was already a stressor and the importance of this not being a traumatic first experience for her. I highly recommend.
